NORWALK, CT  –  In light of the City of Norwalk considering a ban on plastic “carryout” bags, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk celebrates such municipal efforts and encourages other communities to take up the cause. Norwalk Common Council is expected to vote Jan. 8 on an ordiance that would prohibit businesses from selling, providing or distributing carryout bags made of plastic.
